About Sherry Williams
Sherry B. Williams is sought frequently by the media to share her amazing "overcoming" story and her unfolding political journey. While based in Phoenix, AZ, Sherry was featured five times on NBC TV-12, three times on CBS TV-5, and twice on FOX YV-10. Enchanted by her "champion spirit," newspaper writers, locally and in other cities, have featured Sherry numerous times in the Arizona Republic, the West Valley View, the Arizona Informant, Chicago Sun Times and N'Digo megapaper. Sherry's triumphant story of cancer survival has gained national recognition as well. She was featured in several magazines including Black Enterprise, Ebony, Essence, Applause, and MAMM. Sherry appeared on the nationally-syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show and the historic WVON Radio in Chicago. In carrying Sherry's story to a worldwide audience, the renown Dr. Andrew Weil, which helps millions of consumers and health professionals stay abreast of news and information in their field, featured Sherry in two articles; Profiles in Healing: Sherry Williams, and Living Well Using Weil at www.drweil.com.
In Sherry's professional career with Mary Kay Cosmetics she is a part of the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation video titled "With Courage and Hope." Sherry is now based in her hometown, Atlanta, GA.
